Live from the Vatican

If you want a touching on-the-spot portrait of what things are like in St Peter's Square in the Vatican at the moment, with the Pope so near to death, check out the wonderful Father Roderick's latest podcast at Catholic Insider. He flew today at short notice from Holland to Rome so he could be there for this momentous occaision. It truly was very touching listening to Roderick's account. Even though I'm not Catholic it brought a tear to my eye, and moved me to join with the thousands there, and millions around the globe who are praying for the Pope right now.
