What I’ve Been Doing Today - 2007-05-14
- 1002 - Enjoyed the church business breakfast overlooking Shoalwater bay islands. Easy to forget just what a beautiful place we live in #
- 1030 - Got a call from a Dr friend asking if I want to go on a free trip to Noosa, Queensland in July. But I’ll be in LA. Missed out again #
- 1157 - Whilst checking my itinerary for a blog post, I discovered 2 flights are listed as cancelled! We might be stuck in Hawaii forever… #
- 1246 - Email from travel agent. Flights booked again. Guess we won’t be living in Hawaii after all… though we’d be temped to stay in Nashv #
- 1348 - On the phone to Microsoft support to try and get my XBox 360 repaired. Has been out of order for a couple of weeks now #
- 1357 - Nice American sounding guy at Microsoft will arrange to get our Xbox shipped and fixed. Saw a patient. Now reading Slacktivist blog #
- 1441 - Very steady day at work today - surgery is crazy busy but not too bad for me. Running 9 minutes ahead of time at present #
- 1523 - No patients waiting. Looking at pathology and radiology results. Also browsing Strange maps : http://strangemaps.wordpress.com/ #
- 1531 - Got 2 emails from Microsoft. The 2nd was weird and ended thus : “謝謝您連絡 Xbox 客戶服務中心。我們已收到您的維修要求。一旦我們開始處理您的要求，會即刻以電子郵件通知您！” Bizarre! #
- 1549 - last patient of the day has cancelled (at least they actually bothered to call) so I’m off to pick up Luke and head home #
- 1839 - Today I began collecting some essential items for our trip. Got two tubes of Vegemite spread - never leave Australia without it
